This 1 and a half day course trains you to conduct and certify divers in the Emergency First Response program. The course teaches you how to conduct both primary and secondary care options including oxygen providing and "automated external defibrillator" orientation. This rating is an essential credential for every dive Instructor in order to independently certify Rescue Divers and meet prerequisites for other PADI professional levels of training. PADI Divemasters and Assistant Instructors are also able to undergo EFR Instructor training and independently issue EFR certifications. This program also includes the EFR 'Care for Children' Instructor rating which teaches you 1st Aid and secondary care skills specific to infants and children, even if you never use these skills, you'll be indebted that you took the program. We offer the EFR with 'Care for Children' Instructor course as stand alone courses or as part of our PADI Instructor Development Courses (PADI IDC's) righthere on Utila, in Central America Honduras.
