PADI Integrated Open Water / Advanced Open Water Diver Rebreather

PADI Open Water/Advanced Rebreather Course Utila Bay Islands HondurasThis course combines the PADI Open Water and Advanced Open Water rebreather (CCR)  levels and qualifies you to dive on the Poseidon closed circuit rebreather unit, to a depth of 30 meters/100 feet (40 meters/130 feet if qualified as a PADI Deep specialty diver), and within no decompression limits, and the ability to safely bail out to open circuit at any time.

Knowledge development takes place through independent study and Instructor led prescriptive teaching, and students will have the PADI Rebreather Diver manual that has both the Open Water and Advanced Open Water portions, PADI Rebreather Predive Checklist Slate, PADI Recreational Rebreather Diving Key Skills Video and manufacturer’s manual and/or other support literature for rebreather used in course.

There will be practical sessions in unit assembly and dive checks and the combined course includes 6 training dives with a minimum time on the unit of 320 minutes and in-water skills cover clearing a flooded loop, monitoring heads-up display (HUD) and electronics, buoyancy and trim, switching to bail out, alternate air source use with another rebreather diver, deploying a submersible marker buoy, rigging and carrying an additional off-board bail out tank, switching to both on-board and off-board bail out, and deeper dive planning on a closed circuit rebreather.
