PADI Rebreather (CCR)
Utila Dive Centre is once again the leader in the regional dive industry as the first dive center and resort to offer PADI closed circuit rebreather training for all divers through our PADI Career Development Center.
Some of the benefits of diving with a closed circuit rebreather over traditional open circuit scuba are: Longer dive times, longer no decompression limits; Less noise, no bubbles (creatures will come close to you); Enhanced photos and videos of aquatic life as you can now get much closer to your subjects; Stay warmer longer as less body heat is exhaled; Breathe warm air.
PADI Rebreather Open Water Certification
This course qualifies you to dive independently, with either another rebreather or open circuit diver, to a depth of 18 meters/60 feet and within no decompression limits.
PADI Rebreather Advanced Open Water Certification
This course qualifies closed circuit rebreather divers to depths of 30 meters/100 feet.
PADI Integrated Open Water / Advanced Open Water Diver Rebreather
This course combines the PADI Open Water and Advanced Open Water rebreather levels and qualifies you to dive independently with either another rebreather or open circuit diver, to a depth of 30 meters/100 feet, and within no decompression limits.

Qualifier/Crossover to Poseidon Rebreather
This coursecertifies rebreather divers on other units, to new units as either a PADI Open Water Rebreather diver, or PADI Advanced Open Water Rebreather diver.
