Gas Blender
This course allows you to teach and certify divers with an interest in gas blending, how to apply different blending methodologies and explain the potential hazards related to handling oxygen and demonstrate the steps related to oxygen cleaning equipment.
As demand for exotic technical diving gases continues to grow, increase your employment opportunities and this course is valuable for dive professionals who wish to work on liveaboards, in technical diving facilities, or in recreational diving where Nitrox/Enriched Air diving is popular. The PADI/DSAT Gas Blender Instructor course is one of the most informative and comprehensive programs available, incorporating instructional philosophies and course goals that directly address the demanding nature of gas blending. If you’re not yet qualified as a Gas Blender, we can integrate the Gas Blender training with our Instructor course.

How long will it take?
The course takes approximately 1 1/2 days and if you need Enriched Air Instructor this is also 1 1/2 days.
This course allows you to teach and certify divers with an interest in gas blending. To qualify as a PADI/DSAT Gas Blender Instructor, you need to be certified as a DSAT Gas Blender (or equivalent, but this can be integrated the same time as the Instructor course) and attend a PADI Instructor program. You’ll also need to be certified as a PADI Enriched Air Instructor, which can be done simultaneously. Once certified, you will be qualified to instruct divers on how to blend gases of Nitrox and Trimix. This program will allow you to teach different blending methodologies, explain the potential hazards related to handling oxygen, and demonstrate the steps related to oxygen cleaning equipment. As demand for exotic technical diving gases continues to grow, increase your employment opportunities by qualifying to train DSAT Gas Blenders.
