Dive with Utila's finest and most fun in the PADI Open Water beginners course

The Open Water Diver certification is the 1st complete PADI certification you can earn and the most chosen course for beginners in Honduras and worldwide.  This license is the most recognized in the dive industry and will allow you to dive anywhere in the world, independent of professional supervision, to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet. Utila Dive Centre's instructors have the highest ratings and the most experience in the Caribbean.  The reef system around the Utila is the perfect environment for you to learn scuba diving.

    

This scuba diving course is comprised of 5 academic modules, 5 confined water training sessions and 4 open water dives. This license is your passport to adventure and the key to open the door of the wonderful underwater world. This course can be conducted in 3 ½ to 4 ½ days and requires no previous experience. You'll be amazed and end up asking yourself why you never took this course earlier. Be warned: scuba is addictive.

 

The price listed above includes all books, materials, taxes, and 4 nights in our Shared Bathroom Dorms which are very popular with backpackers because of the freshwater pool right by the rooms.  Please visit our Hotel section if you would like to bundle this course with a different room type at the Mango Inn.

We are currently offering 2 additional dives with this package, and there are no other hidden charges for the course.  At Utila Dive Centre we also have a great sundeck, complimentary kayak use, amazing snorkeling off our dock, and weekly BBQ parties.
