Scuba Diver Course

If you do not want to commit to the complete PADI Open Water Course, Utila Dive Centre's experienced instructors can get you on your way with the PADI Scuba Diver Course.  You will be able to get up close and personal with Utila's beautiful reefs in only 2 days.

This course requires no previous experience and allows you to earn a PADI diving certification in 2 ½ days. This certification allows you to dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet under the direct supervision of a PADI professional.

The Scuba Diver course is comprised of 3 academic modules, 3 confined water training sessions and 2 open water dives. Once you're amazed and addicted by the beauty of the underwater world you're only 1 ½ days from continuing to a full PADI Open Water Diver certification.
